INFOZARIO: OUR STORY
InfoZario—what does that even mean?
To answer that question: InfoZario is a creative blend of the words “information and “impresario.” An impresario is an expert at organizing and managing. InfoZario thinks of itself as an impresario of organizing and managing records.
InfoZario began as a records management consulting business. For more than 30 years, we’ve assisted many clients in improving their records management programs, including these organizations:
- Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies
- Engineering and construction companies
- Financial service providers
- Health care providers
- Law firms and law departments
- Manufacturers
- Public utilities
- Retailers
- State and local governments
We’ve also trained hundreds of records management practitioners in these organizations through courses, workshops, and presentations.
Now we’re taking a step further and creating a single platform for records management training, where our experience is combined with that of others and shared.
We’re an experiment and a work in progress, so please join us as we figure it out together.

INFOZARIO: OUR MISSION, MANIFESTO, AND MANTRA
Conventional business wisdom emphasizes the importance of having a clear mission, a well-defined manifesto, or a guiding mantra. So, we asked ourselves, “Why not all three?”
OUR MISSION
A mission is a significant goal or purpose, accompanied by a firm conviction to make it happen.
- Our mission is to provide a learning center that includes courses, workshops, and events; publications; communities of practice; and forum discussions, where records management practitioners share their expertise and best practices from the real world.
OUR MANIFESTO
A manifesto is about core values, principles, and a commitment to accomplish the mission.
- Our manifesto is to bring to the records management profession the respect it deserves, develop records management talent, and provide support, tools, knowledge, and fun while sharing and learning.
OUR MANTRA
A mantra is a slogan that you repeat to reinforce the mission.
- Our mantra is: “All Things Records Management All in One Place”.
Now, let us introduce our Founder and Chief of Everything, Nancy Williams, who shares her records management story.
NANCY: HER STORY

Hi, my name is Nancy Williams.
I’ve worked in records management for a long time, but for many years I didn’t realize I was in that field. Regardless of my workplace during that time, I always ended up organizing the files because, as I was often told, “You’re good with the files,” and I can now say that my superpower is records management. This work picked me; I didn’t choose it.
Now, fast-forward to the present. After working as a records management consultant at InfoZario for several years, I wanted to go beyond solving records management issues one organization at a time. I decided to take action after concluding that a lack of proper records management training was the primary cause of these problems. InfoZario All Things Records Management is our answer to excellent records management training.
But why develop a social learning platform for records management? Over the years, I’ve read a ton of books, taken courses, and spent many hours researching articles and blogs on records management topics, most of which had little or no value. I asked myself, “Wouldn’t it be great to have a records management single source?” So, to prevent others from experiencing what I did, we developed InfoZario as that source.
